Looks like I’ll be making a trip both weekends. The one I most want to see is Fats Domino, but Leslie wants to see Frogman Henry and told me that I shouldn’t miss Ani DiFranco live. Plus, it’s hard to turn down Dylan and Dr. John.

That’s a fine line up – Fats Domino, Lionel Richie, Paul Simon, Dylan, Dr. John, Elvis Costello, Irma Thomas, Ivan Neville, all people I’d like to see! Didn’t know Frogman Henry was still alive!
You could have stopped with Keith Urban. Is Leslie’s mom coming.
Yes. She has to decide which weekend she wants to come down for, though.
I think she’s aiming for Dylan.
hi all,
the first weekend looks like a plan. i’ll start looking for fares now. marnie, ready for the third annual??
Sounds good to me. I will get your room ready.
kent, leslie and whoever else is coming down for the greatest american music festival this side of the mason dixon line….
springteen added this week, but with a folk band, who he recorded an album with covering and old folk genius. Silly me, wine takes my memory away and can’t remember who this genius is (check out this week’s Times picayune archives), but the record is soon to be released.
also, springteen and meters on same night. reunited meters–OOHHHH SHHHIIITTTT!!!
