I still think the Steelers have a chance to make the playoffs.
Ben wasn’t the “guy who won”. He was the “guy who didn’t loose”. He is a good game manager on a running team. Power run game and a solid D. Chandler was the same with Atlanta. Pitt should be OK if they get a game manager QB that won’t give it away.
and I would pencil in Miami over Jax, or maybe even over the Pats. Good coach, finally a decent QB, good draft… If not this year, then the next.
Atlanta will miss the playoffs again this year. I’m not sure why you don’t have the Panthers on your list.

Back to the Saints…Reggie Bush is donating a ton of money to fix up Tad Gormley Stadium. He seems to be a great young man. Hope he can be the same on the football field. Please be careful of his toes.

Because they make the playoffs every year, despite the injuries. Unlike the Falcons, whose season crumbles if Vick stubs his toe and has to sit out a game. The Panthers are like the Patriots of the NFC. Except without the Super Bowl wins.
Nah. Atlanta will make the playoffs this year. Loose out early in the playoffs. Next year, they will stink again.

Actually, two years ago, the Panthers weren’t in the playoffs. Plus, they are an aging team that continually wears down during the season. They have one proven weapon in Steve Smith and an inconsistent running game. They also lost one of the key members of their defense in Rickey Manning. This an overrated franchise and one that is on the decline.
The Falcons, on the other hand, improved their defense and have up-and-coming receivers to become more a balanced offense.
Yeah, its been those damn under-achieving receivers that have been Atlanta’s problem.

Atlanta won’t get anywhere near a championship game while Vick is there.
The best part about Vick is hearing the whole city take a deep breath and hold it when he goes down.
