Does anyone actually watch the Pro Bowl? It doesn’t even get broadcast over here.
Football may be over, but the cricket season is not far away. Ah, the evocative sound of leather on willow on a summer’s day. Bliss.
Nobody watches the probowl. I wish I could find australian rules football on tv here, because that game is insane.
There’s a local Australian rules league (men and women), the Kookaburras. They start up at the end of February – we should go watch.

Australian Rules Football! I have no idea what’s going on.. but it’s fun to try and figure it out. I looked for a TV schedule but it seems that ESPN went with soccer and stopped running the games. Boo.
Aussie rules is fantastic. We used to get a lot of coverage over here in the early 90’s, but I’ve not seen it on TV for quite a long while now. Great fun to watch.
