I can be a dryer repairman.
This is the second time I have repaired our dryer. This is what I pulled out of it, in the vent between the screen and the fan that drives the air:
That stuff under the spoon is like mud. And yes, those legs are quite sexy.
Then my assistant dropped a screw down the vent and I had to take the whole thing apart again. I fired her. Then I re-hired her with a pay raise when I realized that there was even more lint trapped up in there:
Now the dryer dries like a dream. If you have problems with yours, give me a call, I’m an expert.
You are one handy man. You can check mine the next time you come to NO> Be careful with your assistant….good help is hard to find. Hope none of that stuff was “Cybill” hair.
That is nasty………….But those legs are to die for. How long has it been since you cleaned it out? I can only imagine what is in mine. Looks like a whole bunch of stuff was in yours.
Whenever I clean our dryer out, the fluff is always pink. I do not know what this means, but I thought I’d share it.
You have beautiful girls, Greg.
Chloe’s 9 and going through a phase where she wants to separate herself from being “a kid”. One of the things is that she declared she no longer likes pink, so I have to repaint her room (I painted it pink when she was 3 or 4). I’ve been kind of putting it off because repainting it (she wants a pale blue) I know will make me feel sad. It literally feels to me like it was not long ago I painted it and put up the fairy border, with the magic fairy castle stickers on the walls.
Of course, then when I point out that her favourite teddy bear is pink, she declares that that’s different!
For her 9th birthday recently, we took her and 3 friends out to Pizza Hut, before a sleepover at our house. These 4 girls got excited to go out and spent hours getting themselves ready. When they were, they all trouped out to the car, each of them with hair clips and grips done just so, make-up on (a little, Sarah managed to restrain them from going for the full on cosmetic counter girl look, hehehehe)…..and each clutching their favourite teddy bear.
Talk about a confused age. She still likes going for walks and shopping with her old man, so I’m thankful for that.
It’s hard to watch them grow up.
Oh Greg, you are in for it. Keep them close as long has you can. Wait til the hormones hit! It will be amazing how “stupid” you get as they get older….then when they are in their 20’s all your faculties return and you are the smartest dad in the world. I am so glad I had boys!
