Make Brent buy you a fancy fancy dinner and then take you out dancing.
How someone can be born and raised in Philadelphia and end up a Packers fan is beyond me.
And Bootsy too.
Donovan McNabb and Bernard Berrian miss you.
Happy birthday to my favorite bad influence.
Finally.
My friend Wes, a Bills fan, said yeah last night, “Yeah, you forget what it feels like to win, don’t you?”
Where was the team that showed up last night in our first four games? Despite making me really nervous in the fourth quarter with all the pass plays, we looked like what everyone expected us to look like.
Update:
This guy:
Is quickly becoming one of my favorite Saints. He gets fatter and fatter every game. In a season that has been bereft of man-boobs without Bill Parcells, Hollis Thomas is filling the void.
It doesn’t seem fair that you two have to share a birthday post, but I didn’t want to put one first, or have one knock the other off the top.
Happy birthday to the two best dart players I’ve ever played against.
In an article in the Sun-Herald about the Saints kicker situation and Mare’s groin injury that is supposedly keeping him from making field goals, Olindo F. Mare said:
“I’m not worried about anybody taking my job as far as when I’m healthy,” Mare said.
Then Mare alluded to Tony Romo’s five interceptions and lost fumble when the Dallas Cowboys played at Buffalo on Monday night.
“You can’t base it on one game or Dallas wouldn’t have a quarterback.”
Yeah, but the difference is, Dallas won.
The only teams that are worse than the Saints are St. Louis and Miami, and that’s just because they haven’t had their bye week already. Are we emotionally spent after last season?
Is it:
On the bright side, Eric Johnson looks pretty good and so does Mike Karney. Reggie’s games are getting better. Mike McKenzie bailed out the secondary. (I never thought I would appreciate McKenzie so much). Hollis Thomas looked good. Will Smith finally got a sack.
What do you think is wrong with the Saints? Do you still believe? I do.
