Today I picked up thirty marbles with my toes and put them in a cup while Leslie laughed at me!
Physical therapy is great!
Here’s me walking away:

I turned in my letter of resignation today at my job. It made me sad.
But now it is official. My last day is February 6 at Georgia Tech, and my first day is February 16 at the Historic New Orleans Collection. Tell your friends and neighbors.
Leslie and I are moving to New Orleans!

In 2008, we had:
We will see you in NO!
Happy Festivus from elbuzzard.com to you and yours and theirs.
This morning I did some reflecting and investigating into what Xmas is all about. Here’s what I came up with:
After I finish working today, I will forcibly make Xmas be about:
Merry Xmas, people.
Here’s the latest x-ray from my doctor’s appointment this morning, where you can see the pins and buttons and such:
I was concerned by the fact that the fibula still has a giant gap in it, but the doctor wasn’t concerned. I don’t think the fibula matters to doctors. It matters to me, though. I hate the way it doesn’t line up there in the right-hand image. Gives me the heebie-jeebies.
I’m on crutches two more weeks, then I can start walking on it in the boot.
Jessie and James, photographers extraordinaire, are selling off some of their prints on their website:
Jessie writes:
As of this morning, our print sale “storefront” is open at our website.
Click on the tab “Print Sales” on the far right. We are offering 47 existing 11×14 prints for $40 each, including shipping. A holiday gift to our fans, while supplies last! Custom print options in several sizes are also available. We’ve put three pages of images up, so tool around and see if you see something you’d like, and we’ll ship it out to you. I look forward to sending these pictures to their new homes.
They do really nice work. There are worse Xmas gifts than a nice photograph of some exotic faraway place.
Dave and Barbara had their baby this morning! Lucy Lane Purdum weighs in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and 19 inches long.
I haven’t had the chance to meet her yet, as I’m still relegated to eating painkillers on my couch. I was supposed to be there for Dave support, but I wasn’t content with just ruining the baby shower with my clumsiness….. Leslie filled in for me admirably, I hear.
Congrats Dave and Barb!
