Oh well, we’ve overcome bigger obstacles than that.
With the exception of Indy, Jax, and Philly, this schedule looks easier than last years. I guess at Seattle is a tough game too.

Indy will suffer the post-Super Bowl blues because they are not the Patriots. I bet Jacksonville wins their division.
Tennessee will be better than everyone thinks, but Reggie is going to win the Monday Night Football Rose Bowl II game, because visitors don’t win on MNF in the Dome.
Once again, Seattle will only be good at home.
I will give San Fran and Arizona some credit when the prove me wrong. Both of those teams were supposed to be good last year. Arizona, like Detroit, has supposed to be for years now.
Philly signed Kevin Curtis. That’s a major upgrade for them.
Chicago? Really? Not twice. Well maybe twice, but only because by that time, we’ll have clinched our playoff spot.

1) we were physically dominated
2) we were intimidated
3) their shitty offense made our shitty defense look even shittier.

otherwise, I agree with your assessments. but i think we can all agree that basing strength of schedule on the previous year’s results is an empty pursuit. crap, tampa bay could be good next year, for all we know.
I don’t remember us being intimidated by the Bears. Some things went against us and then snowballed. The Bears aren’t that much better than us.
We’ll contend, but it will be anything but a “Brees.”

The Bears are tired and so last year. Same with Indy. What I can’t believe is that no one is even a little scared of the Rams. With Bennett and McMichael, they’re even more of an offensive juggernaut. It’s even possible that the Saints’ game might actually be the one next season for which the defense decides to leave the hotel. Come on! Where’s the respect?
The Rams defensive coordinator is Jim Haslett. You’ll get no respect from this group with him on your team.

While in Atlanta, Mora orchestrated a team-building outing, where the Falcons were to go see “Invincible,” the Marky Mark movie about the walk-on Eagle player. Anyway … the Falcons all arrive at the practice facility and pile into a chartered bus. D’Angelo Hall pulls up late and in his Lamborghini. Mora jumps off the bus, and all the players are thinking Hall’s going to get an ear full. But, nope, Mora hops in the Lamborghini with Hall and speeds off. That’s coaching.)

Haslett’s better than no DC, which is what the Rams had under Martz (after Lovie left–and, well, before he got there too). And like I said, when they actually leave their hotel rooms, they sometimes do play well. I’ve got no excuse for why they don’t show up for home games . . . too drunk/hungover maybe?
As much as I like Marc, I’ve got to go with Joey in the cute contest. Kent’s right, he’s SO dreamy. Plus he knows how to tickle the ivory, if you know what I mean.
The Rams were better all-around under Martz. At least they had an offense then. Now they’ve got an eh offense and a no defense. Before they had a wow offense and a no defense.

I liked Martz. He was fun and exciting coach, but he was constantly throwing our guys in harms way until they were all hospitalized. Very aggressive, but no one to protect anybody. Fun, but stupid.
