QB Brooks agrees on two-year deal with Raiders

Unrestricted free agent quarterback Aaron Brooks, the former New Orleans starter released last week after the Saints signed Drew Brees, has reached agreement with the Oakland Raiders on a two-year contract.

Poor Oakland.  First Vodka Collins, now Aaron Brooks.

I feel for you, Randy Moss.

  1. I wonder if that is “The Backwards Pass” or not. I can’t remember what game that was in. I too, will always have a soft spot in my heart for AB, just like I do for Ricky Williams and Vodka Collins.

  2. lol, this is from a fantasy mailing list I’m subscribed to:

“Take the Drew Brees move to New Orleans, for example. Brees is now a
Saint, and he should stabilize their offense and provide more consistency,
which should help their key players. His departure from San Diego also
means, of course, that the Chargers will go with first-year starter and
former #1 pick Philip Rivers, which could limit the fantasy production of
studs such as LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates. And, of course, we
have former Saint QB Aaron Brooks moving to Oakland, which should affect
the values of players such as WRs Randy Moss and Jerry Porter (we haven’t
exactly decided whether it will be negative or positive just yet).”

    LMAO

  3. hehe Brooks was a great fantasy QB. He was a TD-machine in the 4th quarter…

when the Saints were down by 35 and he had already thrown 4 picks.
