It’s good to see that we’ve taken care of any issues we had with the deep ball last year. Sheesh.
All in all, it was just one of those games. First of the year, we got out of rhythm, just as they got into one. Offensively many things were there, but we dropped passes or had stupid penalties. And of course, we got away from the run. Such is life. Next week will be better.
I also noticed that my cheap-ass Reggie Bush jersey from Wal-Mart has a helmet on the shoulder, instead of a fleur de lis. Now everyone is going to know I’m inferior.
Don’t be a Boo Bird. It was the first game and we played the world champs. When Manning is on and he cannot be beat. Maybe we needed to loose this game as a wake-up call. The first half was wonderful to watch.
It’s ok to lose this game, but couldn’t we get just one offensive touchdown?
Compared to some of my other Saints posts, I think that one was pretty positive. Sorry Marnie, that’s the Nebraska Cornhusker fan in me. Most fans build their teams up. Nebraska football fans tear their teams down. You should hear our sports talk radio shows. You’d think we were fielding a team of retarded people.
