For those of you keeping track, I am eating a whole new breakfast these days. I went from a banana to a bowl of cereal. Now I am throwing a grapefruit into the mix. Grapefruits are every hard to eat. I don’t know how long the second part will last, but I am officially entrenched in the cereal-for-breakfast ranks. Before about a month ago, I had not had a bowl of cereal in about 15 years. So you could say I’m going through some big changes. How am I doing it? I’m taking it day by day. That’s how. My only issue is how bad the milk container smells at the end of the day.

2 Suggestions for you:
#1- Cut in between the grapefruit pieces with a knife before eating
#2- Rinse your milk container out at work after you eat
What kind of cereal? I’m a fan of shredded wheat.
It’s Kashi Go Lean. It turns out everyone I know is also eating this particular brand of cereal. It’s rediculous?
Chelsey, I will take that under advisement. And you will be happy to know that I did rinse out my bowl, but not my milk container.
Kent was eating that for a while, it’s tasty. It’s an organic food racket.
The grapefruit spoon is very helpful but doesn’t completely eliminate juice from spraying everywhere.
I am also now eating cereal every morning.
Right now I am eating Quaker Oatmeal Squares. Before that it was shredded wheat. I have to switch it up, or else I stop eating cereal. I’m going to Cracklin’ Oat Bran next, for sure.
I love Cracklin Oat Bran, but I am pretty sure its not very good for you.
They don’t make it with real cracklins, so it’s ok.
For the record, cutting your grapefruit before you eat it is a great idea.
And as I told Chelsey, it makes me feel like I am an old British person who does everything very deliberately. I am alos going to add soft boiled eggs to the mix, and spend like 45 minutes tapping at the top of the shell.
Old British people don’t eat cereal. They eat greasy fry-ups.
i have too much free time these days. i usually have a nice cheese omlette or eggs and bacon with an english muffin.
