Is the Island any good? I wanted to see that when it came out because I like science ficiton movies like that (e.g. Waterworld, The Postman, Minority Report) but then I didn’t.
It is horrible. Except I really like Ewan McGreggor, and I think Scarlett is a hot tomale, so I liked it.
Also it’s okay for me to be hot-to-trot for a 22-year-old, because my wife is 22. That’s how it works.
Some people think The Postman is horrible. I think it’s great. I’m adding The Island to our Netflix subscription. Leslie will hate me.
Maybe if the Postman were a bit longer…I’m not sure Costner gave it enough time to really draw everyone into the world of the Postman.
I just wish there was some way to combine it with Waterworld, since it’s essentially the same movie like 2 years apart. But the leading lady is prettier in The Postman.
I beginning to think I judge my movies based on the attractiveness of the people in it. That and StarPower.
The two movies are related. Kevin Costner is making one giant movie, just out of order. One day I’ll put them all in order and watch them.
